High-performance turbocharger upgrade for the AMG M133 2.0L Turbo – significantly increased air mass, fast response and stable performance up to approx. 450 hp.
Description
The TTH upgrade turbocharger for the Mercedes-AMG M133 was specifically developed for performance-oriented setups based on the 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine . The goal of this upgrade is to significantly raise the standard flow and load limits of the OEM turbocharger without compromising the M133's characteristically fast response. The result is a stable power base of up to approximately 450 hp for sporty road cars, track day vehicles, and racing cars.
Optimizations to the OEM turbocharger
- CNC-machined high-flow compressor wheel
- Flow-optimized compressor and inlet geometry
- Revised performance turbine
- Reinforced bearings for increased speeds and thermal loads
- Optimized gap dimensions for increased efficiency
- Fine balancing down to 0.05 g for maximum smoothness of operation
- In-house manufacturing & final inspection according to TTH specification

- Optimized fuel supply recommended
- Upgraded intercooler highly recommended
- A modified exhaust system is advisable.
- Individual engine software tuning is absolutely necessary.
