Water injection boost cooler
Stage 3 DI DST
High-precision water injection system for modern direct injection engines – maximum thermal control through direct-stage triggering.
Description
The Boost Cooler Stage 3 DI DST water injection system was specifically developed for direct injection engines with near-stock or optimized engine management systems , where extremely high thermal loads occur. Map-based control combined with Direct-Stage Triggering (DST) ensures extremely precise and load-dependent injection of water or water-methanol mixtures. The result is a significant reduction in intake air temperature and maximum combustion stabilization at high performance levels.
System function & operating principle
- Direct control of the injection via DST signal
- Map-based, load-dependent water injection
- Significant reduction in intake air temperature
- Increased knock resistance at high charging pressures
- Stable combustion conditions under continuous load
Stage 3 design (DI DST)
- Designed for modern direct injection (DI) engines
- Direct-stage triggering for the most precise injection timing
- High-performance high-pressure pump for constant flow rate
- Optimized for high boost pressures and extreme power levels
- Suitable for Stage 3 and motorsport setups
Advantages in performance applications
- Maximum thermal relief for the engine
- Constant power output under extreme conditions
- Reduced knocking tendency with aggressive engine maps
- Increased durability of pistons, valves and turbochargers
- Ideal complement for high-boost performance concepts
Area of application
Designed for high-performance direct-injection vehicles used in sporty or motorsport-related environments. Particularly suitable for setups with very high boost pressures and demanding performance targets.
Notes
Racing equipment – not approved for use on public roads.
Intended exclusively for motorsport and export vehicles. Not approved for public road use.
Installation, commissioning, and integration into the engine management system must be carried out by a qualified specialist workshop . Individual tuning of the engine software is essential for safe and efficient operation.
