Water injection boost cooler
Stage 1
Efficient entry-level water injection system for thermal relief of turbocharged engines – ideal for near-stock performance enhancements.
Description
The Boost Cooler Stage 1 water injection system is the ideal entry point into active temperature control for turbocharged and supercharged engines. By injecting water or water-methanol mixtures as needed, the intake air temperature is reduced, knocking tendency is lowered, and engine reliability is increased during sporty driving.
System function & operating principle
- Reduction of intake air temperature under load
- Reduction of knocking tendency under increased engine load
- Stabilizing engine performance in hot conditions
- Thermal relief of combustion chamber and charging
- Support for near-series performance enhancements
Stage 1 design
- Proven, load-dependent injection control
- Reliable flow rate for near-series setups
- Suitable for moderate boost pressure increases
- Easily integrated into existing engine concepts
- Designed for everyday and sporting use
Advantages in use
- Improved thermal stability of the engine
- More consistent power output at high temperatures
- Increased operational safety during sporty driving.
- Ideal complement to Stage 1 software optimizations
- Gentle introduction to performance-oriented conversions
Area of application
Suitable for near-standard and slightly modified turbo and supercharged engines in sporty road use or motorsport-like environments.
Notes
Racing equipment – not approved for use on public roads.
Intended exclusively for motorsport and export vehicles. Not approved for public road use.
