Capristo exhaust system (racing)
Mercedes-AMG GT R
Uncompromising racing exhaust system for the Mercedes-AMG GT R – maximum sound development, minimal exhaust back pressure and pure V8 biturbo presence.
Description
The Capristo racing exhaust system for the Mercedes-AMG GT R (C190) was developed without compromise for the 4.0-liter V8 biturbo engine . The focus is on a consistently sound- and performance-oriented design, without regard for noise or emission limits. Thanks to the flow-optimized pipe routing and reduced sound damping, an extremely direct, aggressive, and unfiltered AMG V8 sound is created, bringing the GT R acoustically to racetrack level.
Sound character
- Extremely loud, uncompromising V8 twin-turbo sound
- Very direct, motorsport-like sound reproduction

Not street legal. Intended exclusively for motorsport, racing, or export vehicles. Installation should only be carried out by a qualified specialist workshop .
Important instructions!
The use of sports catalytic converters, replacement pipes and manual valve controls (EVCU-1, E2P, E2E, FB-Kit, CLS-1, Performance Box) is not permitted on public roads in Germany and partly in other countries as well.
These are parts for vehicles without road approval, racing vehicles, or for testing purposes on engine test benches. Please be sure to observe the legal regulations in your country. Sports exhaust systems and control units that are not approved for public road use are intended exclusively for racing purposes and for use on private, closed racetracks. Use on public roads is at your own risk. Before installing the exhaust system, the buyer must ensure that the system is permitted for use in their country.
We expressly point out that you should avoid revving the engine while stationary, as this could cause large flames to shoot out. These flames could damage vehicles and people in the immediate vicinity.
