PedalBox throttle tuning for Alpina XD3 F25 (2013–2018)

The DTE Systems PedalBox is a throttle response controller for Alpina XD3 F25 (2013–2018): the add-on control unit plugs in between the accelerator pedal and the original connector and optimises the factory accelerator pedal map in real time. The car responds more spontaneously to the pedal – the delay between pedal movement and engine response disappears. Engine power itself is not changed.

What is this product?

Modern engines often translate pedal movement with a delay. The PedalBox improves the manufacturer's pre-programmed pedal characteristic for a sportier take-off; according to DTE up to 10 % better acceleration (vehicle-specific deviations possible).

PedalBox driving programmes: City, Sport, Sport Plus and Stock (off = factory condition). Each programme can be made up to three steps stronger or softer – up to 7 fine adjustments per programme.

PedalBox Pro additionally: Eco mode (softer throttle response to save fuel), Limit mode (limits throttle response and throttle opening, e.g. for novice drivers or valet parking) and an integrated immobiliser – the engine start is only released when the paired wireless remote or smartphone is in range (also protects against Keyless Go relay attacks).

Operation: PedalBox via the wired keypad; PedalBox Pro via the wireless remote (rechargeable via USB) and the PedalBox app (Android 7.0+, iOS 10+) to customise all programmes and update the software.

PerfecTune: automatic calibration to your car – start PerfecTune at the push of a button and press the accelerator fully once; the PedalBox tunes all programmes itself.

Memory function: the last setting is kept even after restarting the engine.
